See What Our Clients Are Saying
Christine and I have been to a few dozen weddings in the past decade, and our biggest critique is that you can never hear the ceremony, and if the couple is actually mic’d up, inevitably it screeches or fails halfway through the proceedings. This was a big point of emphasis for our wedding, and John not only included the ceremony in the package, but completely knocked it out of the park. We had a very large wedding, and even the folks in the very back row could hear us perfectly.
Moving on to the reception, things kept getting better. John is a great MC, not corny or lame like many of the DJ’s you’ve watched in the past. He is funny, but does not over-insert himself into the festivities. Then came the music- let me tell you that everyone I’ve talked to since our wedding says it was the most unique and fun reception they’ve ever been to. We had 250 folks there, and I believe everyone was on the dance floor for most of the night. I elected for a third piano player as well as a drummer- highly recommended.
Every musician was completely on point, and they took NO BREAKS. I’m being completely honest when I tell you that our guests were blown away, and no one had seen anything like this at a wedding before. For the price and value you get with Orlando Dueling Pianos, you’d be crazy to go with a DJ or corny cover band if you want to have a real party at your wedding. For roughly the same money as the aforementioned entertainment, you get a mic’d up ceremony, background music for your cocktail hour and dinner, and an absolutely rocking live show. Seriously, why would you look at anyone else?
Our only regret is that we paid for 4 hours of live music, and our venue ended up imposing a 10pm quiet hour restriction on us late in the planning stages… when we were informed it was time to shut it down, the only people who were more disappointed than our guests were the musicians themselves.. they were having just as much fun as the rest of us, and were overly apologetic that they had to leave early… John even offered to play an acoustic set at our bonfire after party. If there were 20 stars available, I’d give them 21.
Bravo to Orlando Dueling Pianos and our musicians John, Rob, Katie, and our killer drummer, I hope to find a reason to have you play a party for us again! …in fact I may just invent a reason to throw a party just to watch them play again.
Thanks again guys!
